B-Versatile - demos (94-95)

Breaking off the path for a minute, I bring to you a very dope Hawaiian emcee. This is a combo of basically 2 three track demo tapes, plus a collaboration with a group called Lyrical Prophets. Lo-Fi crunchy goodness complemented by a very easy going style. These tracks were also self-produced by B-Versatile.

Blown Upp Mix - vol.1

Homegrown montage of music. Nothing extremely rare on this one, but a really good mix of artists. Most of this is older stuff with a few post Y2K tracks. I hope you enjoy!!!

Ganjah K

This is a short mix of some old tracks, and a couple new ones. I put this together myself, so its nothing official. I'm like everyone else, still waiting for a good copy of harvest to show up, and that first brigade tape. It's been awhile since i heard anything new from ganjah, so the few tracks are hope for the future.

OMID - Puzzles (1996)

I can't find much info on this release, I'm not even sure its legit. But a sold instrumental album no doubt. Contains one song with vocals from the Rifleman. Aside from Omid's music talents, I thank him for having enough good sense to archive so many priceless moments at the goodlife.

Darkleaf - Kimetic Principles II

Third release from super crew Darkleaf. Liitle better sound quality on kp2 than on kp1. This is probaly my favarite allbum of the 3, thou all thre are really good. Members are listed as: Blackbird, HIMNL, J-Smoov, Jahli, Kermit, Longevity, M. Chineles, Metalogik, Mixmaster Wolf, and Shumagorath. Although j-smoov is in the group any more I believe he is credited to starting the group.

Alien Nation - Millenium

Really fresh chilled out vibe. I wish I could find more from these guys during this period. Millenium was recorded in 1995, and later released in 2003 maybe 2004. It features Fellowship giants Micah 9 and Abstract Rude. Production credits go out to: Al "T" McLaran, DeeJay, and Fat Jack. On the streamed track "overstand" abstract rude puts down one of his dopest verse ever, and that's saying alot!

Fellowship Shop Tape

awww yeesss...the infamous! I don't know the origins of this, nor do I care. Seems to be a mixture of radio appearances and live recordings, that are all classic masterpieces from the freestyle fellowship. The original copy of this had mad tape hiss, but I've filtered most of it out, leaving you with a semi clear copy of this gem! After hearing stuff like this, it just makes me wonder just how much similar material exists out there in the cassette tape graveyard.

Circle of Power - self titled ('93)

1993 debut album from Circle of Power. The core crew members are Mone & Wiz1. Who would later go one and create the super group Blak Forrest. This is just basically hard rhymes or heavy hitting beats. Great vintage 90's Cali hip-hop! The streamed song is track 8. Lowlife, which i believe features an uncredited LMNO (correct me if I'm wrong). Also peep the dope posse cut (man I miss those) towards the end of the album.

saafir demo tape

This is a collection of old demo songs by Saafir. Some are actually unrealesed songs from his debut album "Boxcar Sessions". I took two different folders with only a couple songs in each and made this. The streamed track is an original version of "light sleeper", which also appeared on"Boxcar Sessions"'.
